Turfing & Artificial Grass in South Lanarkshire

A lawn is the most used surface in any garden, and the one that most clearly reveals the difference between careful installation and quick installation. In both natural and artificial grass, the decisive work takes place before the surface arrives: clearance, levelling, drainage where required, and thorough preparation of the base.
01

Natural Turf

For the character and feel of a garden, nothing matches natural turf. We prepare the ground fully — graded, firmed and screeded — and lay quality turf that establishes quickly and wears well.

We also advise honestly on the conditions in which natural turf underperforms: heavy shade, poor drainage, and gardens subject to intensive use through the winter months.

02

Artificial Grass

Modern artificial grass has earned its place in Scottish gardens: consistently green throughout the year, free of mud through the winter, and durable enough for pets, play equipment and daily family use.

We install premium-grade artificial grass on a compacted, free-draining base — because an artificial lawn on a poorly prepared base fails as surely as a natural one.

Selecting the Right Surface

The correct choice depends on the garden and how it is used. At the site visit we assess light, drainage and expected wear, and give a clear recommendation. Many of our transformations incorporate both: natural turf where conditions favour it, artificial grass where they do not.
